Privacy Policy
Plain-English summary of what we collect when you pitch a game, why we collect it, and how to make us forget it. No dark patterns, no third-party ad sales.
01Who we are
GlitchXP is the gaming vertical of Zorm, an independent agency. When this policy says "we" or "us," it means the GlitchXP team operating under Zorm. The legal data controller is the parent entity behind Zorm.io. You can reach us at hello@glitchxp.com.
02What we collect
From the pitch form
- Identifiers: your name, studio name, email address.
- Project info: game title, target launch window, target platforms, budget tier, and the free-text pitch you write.
- Technical metadata: the IP address that submitted the form, your browser's User-Agent string, and a server-side timestamp. This is used for spam mitigation and audit logging.
From the URL you arrived on
- Marketing attribution: if your link contained
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_term,utm_content,gclid, orfbclid, we store those values alongside your pitch so we can see which campaign brought you. Stored in your browser'ssessionStorageonly for the duration of your visit; submitted to us only if you submit the form. - Referrer: the page you came from, if your browser shared it.
What we don't collect
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No fingerprinting libraries.
- No microphone, camera, location, or contacts access.
- If we add product analytics in the future (e.g. Plausible or Microsoft Clarity), we'll update this page first.
03Why we use it
- To reply to your pitch with a loadout recommendation and intro-call options.
- To prepare proposals and contracts if we move forward together.
- To improve our marketing by aggregating which channels brought serious pitches (UTMs).
- To prevent abuse of the contact form (rate limiting, spam filtering, bot detection).
We do not use your data to train any machine-learning model.
04Where it goes
Pitch records are written to a private server-side store on the GlitchXP host, accessible only to authenticated GlitchXP / Zorm staff. Two automated emails are sent through Zoho Mail (our SMTP provider) when you submit:
- A notification to our team inbox.
- A confirmation to the email address you submitted.
Zoho processes message contents in transit and at rest under their own privacy terms. We do not pass your data to any other third party for marketing, analytics, or enrichment.
05How long we keep it
- Active prospects: retained while we're in conversation, plus 24 months for follow-up cycles.
- Converted clients: retained for the life of the engagement and a further 7 years for accounting and tax compliance.
- Spam-classified submissions: dropped immediately, not stored.
06Your rights
Wherever you live, you can write to hello@glitchxp.com and request:
- A copy of the data we hold on you.
- Correction of anything inaccurate.
- Deletion of your records ("right to be forgotten").
- Export of your records in a portable format.
- That we stop processing your data while a request is being resolved.
If you're in the EU/EEA, UK, or California, the same rights apply under GDPR / UK GDPR / CCPA. We respond within 30 days.
07Children
This is a B2B sales site. We don't direct it at children, and we don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has submitted the form, contact us and we'll delete the record.
08Cookies
The site itself uses no cookies. The form uses sessionStorage to temporarily hold UTM parameters during your visit; that storage is cleared when you close the tab. Embedded third-party widgets (e.g. a future Cal.com booking widget) may set their own cookies under their own privacy terms — we'll add a cookie disclosure if and when those go live.
09Changes
If we materially change how we collect or use data, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and (for active prospects) notify you by email. Cosmetic edits won't change the date.
